The first day of Fajr International Indoor Athletics Competitions ended with two records broken in National and Asian level.

Tehran, Iran - As Athletics Federation of Iran reports, the first day of International Indoor Athletics Competitions in commemoration of Fajr and paying tribute to Martyr Gen. Haj Qassem Soleimani, finished as the Iranian athletes had an astonishing performance. 

Mahsa Mirzatabibi from Iran broke national record in women’s pole vault with 3.80m clearance while the national record in this event belonged to her with 3.70m heretofore as well. 

In men’s part and in the most breathtaking competition, Shahin Mehrdelan also from Iran notched the title in Shot Put smashing national and asian record with 20.74m attempt. 

 

These two record official recongnition is subject to the athletes doping test results.
