Fajr International Indoor Athletics Competitions ended in Polimer championship in men and Azad University in women.

 

Tehran, Iran – As Athletics Federation of Iran reports, the Fajr International Indoor Athletics Competitions  with participation of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Iranian Team clubs was held in Aftab Enghelab Sport Complex in Tehran, Iran on 9 – 10 January 2020. In the span of 2 days of competitions, Persian Gulf Polimer Team of Iran won the title in men’s part with 104.5 points, Atrak of Khorasan Shomali ended as runner up with 92 points and Sepahan Team finished as third with 86 points.

In women’s part Azad University snatched victory with 115.5 points and Sepahan Team finished second scoring 84 points. Khorasan Razavi finally ended as third with 81 points.

The competitions ended yesterday while two Asian and national records were broken. Shahin Mehrdelan smashed the Asia and Iran shot put record and Mahsa Mirzatabibi broke national record in women’s pole vault.
