Qom won the title in Iran Men’s Athletics Championships.

Mashhad, Iran – As Athletics Federation of I.R. Iran reports, Iran Men’s Athletics Championships held on Saturday 16th of June in Mashhad, Iran with participation of 200 athletes, finished team Qom winning the title.

Fars team finished second and athletes of Kermanshah took third. Additionally, during the competition several athletes set several national records in different disciplines. Reza Malekpour from Qom claimed victory in 400m hurdles setting 50.92 and also extended national record of the event of which Gholamreza karimi was the previous holder clocking 50.96. Jalil Naseri, introduced as the man of the tournament earning 2 gold medals in 5000m and 10000m.
