The second stage of Iran Women’s Clubs League finished beating two national junior and one club records.
Tehran, Iran – As Athletics Federation of I.R. Iran reports, the second stage of Iran women’s Clubs League was held with the participation of 200 athletes from 9 teams Asan Pardakht, Azad University, Sepahan, Nirouye Havaie, Ghafari Takestan, Ardakan Yazd, Shahrdari Bandar Abbas, Jahesh Damghan and Hamedan at Tehran Aftab Enghelab Stadium on Saturday. The competitions finished on Monday breaking two national and one club records. Azad University team nabbed victory and teams Asan Pardakht and Ghafari Takestan finished respectively as runner-up and third positions.
Samira Khodatars from Asan Pardakht Team extended national junior record in 3000m steeplechase setting 11:33.74. This record owned to Bahareh Jahan Tigh with the time 12:21.79 heretofore.
Shahla Mahmoudi from Ghafari Takestan team improved the club record in 400m hurdles running in 1:02.18 which formerly owned to Samira Zamani recording 1:02.23.
