Golden League Second Round Winners in Women’s Side Announces

Five National Records were broken in the second round of women’s Golden League.

As Athletics Federation of I.R. Iran reports, second round of Golden League competitions in women’s side were held on Monday 21st of May at Tehran Aftab Enghelab Stadium with participation of the best athletes from Iran.

Sahar Ziaie from Kohgilouyeh Boyer Ahmad broke national record in Javelin Throw setting 51.15m, Faezeh Ashourpour from Khorasan Razavi broke junior record in 100m Hurdles setting 15.24, Reyhaneh Arani from Tehran threw 53.44m in Hammer Throw and broke the event’s national record. Shahla Mahmoudi from Qazvin broke national record in 400m Hurdles clocking 1:01.13 and Samira Zamani from Hamedan also broke national record in 3000m clocking 11:01.09. It should be mentioned that the broken records will be ratified after competition’s committee consideration, medical committee and anti-doping control test and confirm.
